Spode Copeland Billingsley Rose Spode's Jewel Dinnerware (Older Backstamp). Each piece is sold individually.
Pattern Description: Spode's Jewel shape & style, Embossed, Pink Rose, Older Backstamp, Scalloped Edge, No Trim. This pattern is discontinued; it was active from ca. 1924 until 1969. Made in England.
A newer version of this pattern, also in the Spode's Jewel Shape & Style, with a newer backstamp, was made from 1970 until 1989. Also, Spode made the Billingsley Rose pattern in different shapes: "Marlborough" or "Mansard". The pattern was further used with Yellow Roses, or Pink Sprays, in several of the shapes.
The center rose pattern varies on the larger plates: Dinner, Luncheon & Salad; I have listed each style separately.
Condition: There are no chips cracks to repairs in this set of English dinnerware, however like most ironstone, crazing exists on many pieces and staining may be present. See photos.
